PASTT - Developing Export through Cluster Development
AITEC was selected by SAGRIC as the managing agents for the Philippines Australia Short Term Training Facility to manage a training program on Developing Export through use of industry clustering models for the various Department of Trade and Industry officials of Mindanao, Philippines. This 3-week residential program involves both components implemented in Australia and the Philippines. The use of innovative collaborative approaches and strategies was a central theme running through this program.
PASTT - Strengthening Regional and Sub-Regional Planning Systems
AITEC was selected by SAGRIC as the managing agents for the Philippines Australia Short Term Training Facility to manage a training program on Strengthening Regional and Sub-Regional Planning Systems for the Philippines National Economic and Development Agency. This program involved both components implemented in Australia and the Philippines. The use of spatial technologies for planning was a theme through this program.
APEC TEL - Seminar on Regulatory Reform
Hosted at AITEC's facilities in Adelaide South Australia, this 4-day, international Regulatory Reform Seminar presented information on current regulatory policy and practices. It also provided a forum for discussion amongst the delegates from over 10 different economies.
As Managing Consultant, AITEC's responsibilities were to design, develop, co-ordinate and facilitate the seminar with international and local eminent speakers integrated into a successful and cohesive program. The content spanned international regulatory policy, regulatory reform, regulatory issues and, most importantly, training to meet the challenges of the regulatory reform agenda.
